tentativeParticipantIt is such a touchy subject. Matters of the body and pleasure and where the boundaries can be set and who sets them has not been anything new. I personally think the one should not masturbate as a principle of the Bible saying our bodies are temples of Christ and carnally pleasuring yourself can associate your body and the Christ within your body with immortality. Joining something so holy to the world seems unthinkable. But at the same time , when you get in the situation where its take a cold shower or engage in masturbation its so easy to compromise and instead of doing what you know you should do , you give into the temptation. Feeling guilty, but forgive yourself for compromising, and in your mind justifying it. But if you have to try to justify anything you do, or try to convince your conscious to not feel bad about it. Then just stay away all together. It also depends on how ‘in the church’ you were raised.
