Why do people try to persuade me to have children? Why do they become upset when I explain that I don’t want any? I’m still in school, and intend to be for a long time (I want my Ph.D). I am married, but I have a lot of selfish things I want to do with my life that don’t include time for a child. Besides, the way I see it, I’m contributing to the solution of the overpopulation problem. So why do people feel it is their duty to ‘convert’ me?
