My brother and I (both in our twenties) have always been extremely close. (We have no other siblings.) We go out together a lot and tend to be casually physical. For example, he’ll put his arm around my waist, or I’ll fall asleep with my head resting on his leg and his hands in my hair. It’s not at all sexual, but some of our mutual friends seem disturbed by our behavior, and that hurts me. I would appreciate any insights into their discomfort.
