Usually at least 90% of blacks vote for Democrats. In the 2000 presidential elections, 96% of all black voters voted for Gore, who is just another white male. Today, blacks are significantly better off socio-economically than they were 20 or 30 years ago. I would expect some diversification in their voting patterns. Yet, they seem more and more committed to voting in blocks, for Democrats. Why?
