Why do black people seem to always talk during the movies? They more often talk to the screen than to each other. I used to live in Philadelphia and, at predominantly black cinemas, the whole audience would interact so much–talking, shouting out comebacks, standing up and clapping–I hardly could hear a word of dialogue from the movie.
