BarbiParticipantGrowing up, my mother taught me there was nothing in the Bible that made any reference to homosexuals or homosexual activity, and that when intolerant people said Jesus or God believed homosexuality to be a sin they were mistaken. However, someone recently showed me passages from Corinthians 6 and Romans in which it is mentioned as sinful. I do not know what version of the Bible it was, but I would appreciate it if someone with a theology background could address this.

RobMemberSome people say the Bible condemns homosexuals for their practices, and I can’t really say much about that because I haven’t read the Bible (not all of it). But I am left-handed, and I have read books about that, and it seems there are also anti-left-handed sentiments in the Bible. So, why do people use the Bible to condemn homosexual practices, but not left-handed ones?
