I lost both legs six inches below the knees a year ago. Are there any publications that list barrier-free home plans?

Why don’t you get the artificial limbs that attach by suction? These are good for boating, hiking, skiing, etc.

The federal department of justice office website has some information on it – try http://www.usdoj.gov/crt/ada/stdspdf.htm – good luck.
