James T. P.MemberWhy is it that you see more men and women of color racing in athletics than white men and women? And also, why is it that you see more white men and women swimming than you do men and women of color?

Nelson A.ParticipantThis is a subject that has been well studied by most government athletic agencies in all multiracial countries, such as mine. Olympic, professional and other athletes are chosen from pools of athletes, the larger the race in the pool, the bigger its predominance in the sport. The pool is formed by all the amateurs who formally or informally practice the sport. To practice a sport, you need access to it. So, what do you need to run? Your feet. What do you need to play football? The ball. What do you need for basketball? The ball and the hoop. Now the good ones: What do you need for swimming? The pool. What do you need for golf? The clubs and the Golf Club share. What do you need for tennis? The racket and the Tennis Club share. But most of all, you need the other people to play with, those who encourage you to join the sport. In most multiracial countries, money is in white hands, so those sports that require money will produce a predominantly white pool. Also, in the United States, for example, a black inner-city child will be more encouraged to “shoot some hoops” than go to the public tennis courts (which exist). Venus Williams and Tiger Woods are not commonplace.

James BlondMemberSports are generally considered a minimum requirement for all people who attend some sort of schooling. Their parents instill the belief that by conquering with sports you defeat poverty. In the past 20 years there has been a realization of sorts withing the colored community especially, that there is ‘A way out’. Most people of color who have become successful with professional sports, have not come from a wealthy background. This is their catalyst into the wealth, and security that has always eluded their lives. Swimming is just not considered in the top 20 money making professions, unlike basketball, football, and basball. As far as whites not prevailing in professional sports, I can only say that the deals offered to a man of color, and a man who is white, is considerably different. A colored man has more people pushing to be ‘Sports’ first, ‘Academics’ second, and a ‘White’ man considers Academics as a ‘Fallback’, not a ‘Drawback’.

Rob S.MemberI studied this in 6th form school. Black peolpe tend to have more ‘Fast Twitch’ muscles than Whites. But Whites people tend to have more ‘Slow Twitch muscles’ than Blacks. This is down to pure heredatary . Fast twitch muscles can produce movement quicker than slow twitch muscles, but they get tired quicker(Which is Ideal for 100 meter running). Slow twitch muscles are slower but have more endurence in them(which is good for cross country and swimming).

jim30724Participantthere are some sports that preclude blacks from participating in measurable numbers due monetary considerations or geography, but the fact remains that blacks are simply superior athletes in many sports. assemble the best sprinters in the world and almost all of them will be black, even though far more non blacks attempt to compete. the same thing applies to pro basketball. the reason no one wants to discuss this publicly is that if we agree that there is a physical difference then the next conclusion is that there might be mental differences too.

JimParticipantI feel there is a reason blacks do better in many athletic endeavors: They are physically slightly different from other races.
