My husband is 6’4′ and 300lbs. And I’m courious as to why when were out in public white woman always feel the need give me the number to domestic abuse shelters, or tell me I don’t have to take his abuse, and I can leave at any time. And when I try to explain that my husbands not like that, he look at me in disbelif, and say something to the effect of but he’s so big. This even happened when I delivered our first born and the nurse asked my husband to leave the room for a moment and she explained me that he doesn’t have the right to put his hands on me, and I shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help. Why is this, why are big black men associate with violence. My husband is a sweethear and wouldn’t hurt a soul. And a lot of the times these comments really hurt his feelings.
