I notice that many Asians with facial moles allow the mole-hair to grow to extreme lengths. I see this in both men and women who are middle-aged and older. I thought it might be a religious or cultural practice of not cutting any hair; but a lot of the time the mole-hairs are longer than the hair on their head, so I don’t think that’s it. Some people don’t like to pull gray hairs because of the old wive’s tale that three more will grow in its place. Is there a similar belief about mole hairs in the Asian culture, or are moles hairs not viewed as unattractive, or are they a sign of good luck, or strength (a la Samson)?
