More than one Caucasian man I know has a ‘thing’ for Asian women. By thing I mean (what seems to me) to be an unnatural interest or obsession. I even work with a guy who is buying a Filipino mail-order bride! That is a whole other discussion, he’s just a perv, but I have got to wonder what is this interest & where does it come from? It’s never occurred to me to search out people of a particular race or culture to the exclusion of all others for dating purposes. It seems to me to be some kind of bizarre fetish, not just a preference. Is it that Asian women are perceived as more domestic or something? BTW, I’m happily involved so it’s not that I’m jealous…just dying to know!
