That was a really rude thing to say. I am in professional school and know many very articulate black people! Calling black people articulate has become such a sensitive point that I feel somewhat intimidated by calling *any* black person articulate. But can I call white people articulate but not black people? Surely Barack Obama is articulate by anyone’s standards! I’ve been told quite a few times that I’m very _____ for a ________.
