It seems that Hollywood has been creating more movies/tv shows which are centered around gay/lesbian characters. My question [to gays/lesbians] is, ‘do you feel that Hollywood is doing a good job portraying the gay community?’ In other words, are they hitting the nail on the head or missing the mark entirely? Also, there are productions like ‘The Birdcage’ and ‘Will & Grace’ that focus on gay characters, but use ‘straight’ actors to portray them. Are these straight actors doing a good job too? Or is the gay community globally offended by Hollywood?
