KelseyMemberI watched the episode of the ‘Taboo Race Questions’ on the Ananda Lewis Show today. I was somewhat disapointed. I do live in an area where it is predominantely white people, but these families are small with only two or three children, and a big family has four kids. In response to the ‘Why are black women loud in movie theaters’ I think a perfect answer could be that black people normally come from larger families and even extended families where they live with a lot of people and have to possibly be loud to be noticed from time to time. It is all about how they know how to get someone’s attention, and if it requires you raising your voice, that is something you are going to do without realizing you are doing it. I would have liked to have heard more about the types of families each person had come from when this discussion had occured. I know in my own family there are only three children, but we are all girls, so we have to do things to get noticed.
