To Europeans sports fans…..July must have been awful. Americans (Pete Sampras and Venus Williams)win both women’s and men’s titles at Wimbleton, an American (Tiger Woods) wins the British Open, and an American (Lance Armstrong)repeats as Tour de France winner. In fact all four were easy wins. How do Europeans feel about American domanance on their home turf? This is honest enquiry, in that personally, I don’t care for any of those sports. To be honest, an answer touting European soccer (football) will be unfulfilling because frankly most Americans couldn’t care less about that sport.
