As an American Jew who has traveled internationally, I am somewhat self-conscious about U.S. foreign policy, particularly with regard to the Middle East. How do non-Jews, particularly those supportive of the Palestinian cause and/or critical of the Israeli and U.S. governments, view American Jews? To what extent do your views of the political policies affect your views of people like me? What assumptions do you make about my politics?
