Jen30968ParticipantWhy do some African-American women seem to hate white women so much?

Jackie21211ParticipantIf your experience with African American women has been one of hate, maybe that is due to something in you that provokes such a response. I am an African American female who measures my relationships by the content of character in others. Color just simply doesn’t enter the criteria by which I measure other women since I know some black women whom I choose not to affiliate myself and white women also. Race matters in much of my daily life but, I am the one that can determine to what degree it matters.

IfeMemberI am a black woman, and I do not hate white women. But I hate it when black women are sometimes compared and degraded for not being too skinny, for being too dark and for not having long, curly hair. I do not hate white women, but I dislike the black men who date only white women because they say we black women have attitudes.
