I don’t think it had to do with skin color either. I believe the last names of Indians have something to do with their caste, although supposedly they don’t have castes anymore. For example Ghandi was a Brahman which I believe is one of the highest castes. It’s funny that even when people look basically the same they will find a way to discriminate against each other 🙁
