Soldiers who were given whole blood transfusions survived over 50% more often than those given ‘blood volume expanders.’ Any 12 week phlebotomy course will not only teach you why artifical fluids, no matter how technologically advanced, will never be an equal, much less superior, alternative to whole blood or blood products such as plasma, but will also show you the individual components of the reality that makes this so. When that verse in Acts was recorded, the idea of blood transfusions was as far away as space travel. That directive was set down by a mortal man, most likely a religious elder acting out of genuine concern for his flock, but the intent was DIETARY.
