First and foremost, SOME of the human species do bizarre things. Many things people do are ways of seeking out themselves and how others view them, either negatively or positively. White females in general do not try to have sex (I don’t know about the sleeping part) with as many males (not Men) as possible. And the minority that do have some serious personal issues to be sure.
