I am no biologist, but from what I´ve heard (from a real biologist), the reason men have nipples is simple: When the embryo of a human baby is developed, it dosn´t have a specific gender. The fetus can become either male or female, and the nipples simply are ‘already’ there, just in case the baby turns out to be a girl.
