Technically speaking the United States is definitely a Christian country. Look at the values of the United States: First, the entire country looks at Sunday as the day of the sabbath, not to work, to worship on Sunday. Even though other religions do not practice on Sundays, it is almost impossible for them to worship on any other day. Also, if you look at our national holidays, most of them are Christian. Also, it seems strange to me that only certain communities with large populations give their schools and businesses time off for non-Christian holidays (in my state, one city is about to construct a $200 million mosque to honor its Muslim community). The United States is coming a long way in helping others gain equality.
