Speaking as a woman over 35 – our hairdressers (and society) are the ones who tell us that ‘straight, natural, shoulder-length hair’ is not appropriate for ‘women our age.’ One of the nice things about being this age, though, is that what 28-year-old males think of your hairstyle just isn’t quite that important anymore. I wear my hair so that it’s comfortable, easy to care for and appears attractive to ME. ‘Bad’ hairstyle is a really subjective opinion.
