Unfortunately the general outlook on teaching is a reflection of the opinion most have about the current generation. It seems many people have written off the Gen Xers, and therefore your profession is viewed as fruitless. I, on the other hand, am thankful to God that in spite of all of that, there are still people who want to become teachers.
