Perhaps you can find someone through the internet who lives not to far away. But be careful! I’ve learned this from internet dating. Always meet a new person in public, suggest going out for coffee or a Coke. If they want you to meet at their house, don’t! You never know who it really is. Also, ask for their phone number in advance and talk with them by phone for awhile. If something about them doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts & don’t go!
