My in-laws are Sephardic and from an Arab country where they were purged in the 70’s and made to leave with nothing. They are neither wealthy nor educated and behave with the victim mentality that you describe as being rampant amongst African-Americans. So, not all Jews have dealt to well with persecution. Hopefully with time all persecuted peoples will be able to raise themselves up as the Ashkenazi have.
