This is an economic and social class issue. I am a black male, and neither I nor any of my friends yell at the movie screen. However, I have noticed other blacks yelling and talking during movies. On the other hand, I have also observed lower-income whites doing the same thing. I have never seen middle- or upper-middle class blacks or whites participating in the behavior you described at movie theaters. It is lower-income blacks and whites alike.
