Should I let the young’ns see daddy behind bars?

My children are 9-and 7-year-old little boys and their real father is going to jail soon for a third DUI. They know that he is sick (alcoholism). My oldest has extreme anxiety that is a result from the lies that he has told him. We are in counseling now and I’m not sure that seeing him in jail would help matters. I don’t want to keep them apart and hurt them, though. The boys have a good relationship with their step dad but he isn’t DAD.
