Hi,there, Just to clarify: I didn't mean in any way to issue a blanket statement like 'All African-Americans don't surf.' My apologies if it sounded that way, and if you took offense. I simply meant that based on my own surfing experience (3 years), I noticed that I hadn't come across any African-Americans surfing with me. That made me a bit curious, is all. I'm glad to hear that you're thinking of taking it up, and if you're ever near NYC I encourage you to e-mail me.
