Like you said, there is no way of knowing now. Only time will tell. Now about your question; For every boy, the times are usually much the same. I have seen, through networking in the gay community, that there are two major groups of people who know WHEN they are different. Like me, I always knew i was 'different' but didn't associate this with sexuality until the age of 11 or 12, around the age of puberty. Now, I have many gay friends who are like me, and others who knew since a very young age, around 5-7. Your boy may know he likes boys, so please make sure that your husband tries not to scold him for acting 'gay' or saying things that could be associated with homosexuality, as this could be taken as rejection by your son. Talk to your husband about the possiblities of your son being gay, so you see exactly where he stands and work on him so his feelings don't affect the relationship between him and your son.

In reality, it is totally normal for teens to have mixed feelings of sexuality.... It is not weird to discover your sexual prefernce at this age.... anyways... what I find weird is that you express no sexual feelings for other females... and even if you did... the problem with our society is that we LOVE labels... we only know Straight, Gay, and BI. but there are SO many level in between... for example.. finding girls sexually attractive, but not wanting to have a relationship. Just let yourself feel what you feel, it might just go away.. or you might be BI... And about telling your friend: maybe she can help you sort through your fellings in a non-pressuring manner.

I'm gay myself and would have to admit that some of these feminine traits are inborn. I am not saying all gay males are feminine, just as all straight guys aren't overly 'macho'. In many cases, people who are feminine do not purposely do it, but the way you describe this particular person, it seems as though they were trying very hard for people to know, and to kind of impose his sexuality. I know many guys like this; they are feminine, but when around certain types of people, they really go into overdrive, just to show the world they are gay. This usally happens when they want someone or some group to know who they are.

I am 15 and a proud gay male. I am very used to debating gay marriage, so I'll try to explain the opposition's point of view. They usually argue that the 'Institution of Marriage' will be diminished more than it is right now. By allowing same-sex marriage, they think it will open the door for other types of marriage other than 'a man and a woman,' such as an animal and a person and an inanimate object (such as a computer) to a person. This makes no sense, since marriage should be between two consenting adults. An animal does not have the discretion to give consent, therefore it cannot legally marry.

Another thing they use is that by allowing same-sex marriage the children will somehow be affected. There have been hundreds of studies by the ACLU, Children's Pediatric Association and American Psychological Society. All state that children from same-sex homes are not more likely to be involved in crime, suffer mental or psychological illnesses, be homosexuals themselves, or be confused about their sexuality. When comparing homosexsual couples to heterosexual couples, the studies showed that the children who are more psychologically better are the children who received more love and attention, regardless of sexuality.

Many people who debate against gay marraige do not know the facts but let themselves be led by pure emotion and morallity according to their religion. The last time I checked, we had a First Amendment right to have freedom of religion, but does this not also protect the right to be free FROM religion?

I am 15, hispanic and was born and raised in this great country. Even though I am hispanic I have a vast vocabulary, I even speak better than most adults. I have family that always teases me about this. My cousins acusse me of being a 'want-to-be-white person'. When speaking the english language the one must ununciate the words accordingly to the english language. What is so wrong in using the english language correctly? Why do you say Hispanics want to acquire a 'white' accent? Since when was trying to speak the english language correctly a 'white' attribute?
