The best way that I have ever heard the trinity described was as it being like a clover. The father, son, and holy spirit all having different 'petals' but all going back to the same stem. God is the father - the creator who sent his son- Jesus to teach others what they should aspire to be as humans. Jesus came to teach, to set an example, and also to show the power of Gods love through is faith. Jesus was suffered and died not only to set an extreme example of faith and love, but for our salvation. As for the holy spirit - some may argue with me, but I feel/think in my faith that I compare it to 'the force.' Unseen but felt, the power of the Lord 'the way, the truth, and the life' that is everywhere - I think present even where you 'think' it isn't. The holy spirit is a ray of sunlight and god is the sun.

Read L.Ron Hubbard's 'dyanetics' for an overview of what they claim to be. I was raised by two philosophical/christian scholars who had a friend who 'disappeared' when he tried to defect from the 'religion.' They are a cult and they extort money to help them in their method of cleansing your persona of sin. I add that their method of catharsis involves what I have heard described as two tin cans attached to a rope that read your bodies signals somehow. If they were truly so righteous and actually have a plan to save me from my wickedness inflicted upon me by society - they would be free and publicize themselves to everyone - not just certain celebraties who we know are rolling in dough.

Well the messed-up part of it is - there is NO way to prove it. But there is no way to disprove it either - take some time and think about that. I'm not gonna blow butterfly sunshine at you - but I can tell you that it is all about faith. Anyone who goes crazy trying to be logical about proving things is missing the point. Faith cannot be proven or measured or in anyway quantified. I got it and I can only tell you how much the joy has changed me and ENHANCED my life. I got 4 years of philosophy and it only made me more confused BUT if you ever want to talk about it - email me and I can tell you details about what I think. Faith isn't about a feeling either...
