PART 3 OF 3 Blacks equal 12% of the American population & equally only 12% of illegal drug users, yet they makeup over 79% of all people arrested & incarcerated for illegal drug related charges. Now we want to start mandatory drug testing on all welfare recipients as a means of denying them assistance. But this boomerang is going to hurt more poor white folks than minorities because contrary to popular belief there are more whites on public assistance than any other race of people. If drug dealers had to depend on only welfare recipients to earn a living they would go broke because most illegal drug users are gainfully employed & professional Caucasians. Street dealers are at the bottom rung of the dollars generated by illegal drugs. The real money is made by the financiers, politicians, businessmen, smugglers, cops, exporters & customs officials that look the other way. But poor & minority street dealers can make more money selling drugs than doing anything else due to their lack of education, lack of opportunity, & labeling criminal histories. Many welfare recipients &/or their spouses augment their meager grants by peddling drugs. Others find it easier & more lucrative than begging for a paltry controlling/intrusive welfare handout or slaving for $5 bucks an hour at a fast food chain or any other minimum wage job that won't pay the rent & buy food & clothing... not to mention pay for furniture, transportation, car insurance, medical or dental care ...or a decent education. Forget about ever buying a home! Street drugs do not require advertising or marketing. Their business is based upon the most basic principle of supply & demand. While whites comfortably snort mountains of cocaine, ecstasy, & whatever else that helps them escape their daily stress... minorities are destroyed by a biased criminal justice system that singles them out for harassment, labeling, incarceration, & ultimately a cycle of crucifixion. Yet some folks still don't see that America's so-called War on Drugs is in reality a war on poor & minority people. Wake up America! Stop sniffing your caffeine laced coffee & soft drinks & start smelling the stench of hypocrisy you are wallowing in.
