My question has acutally been stewing for some time. As an avid participant in YForum, I have noticed, as I am sure a lot of you have also, that people love to ascribe negative traits to other groups of people, not wanting to see the same in their group. Is this only obvious to me? I doubt it. So my question is: Why haven't we: white, black, straight, gay, athiest, religious.....etc, etc....ad nauseam just realized their is one race, the human race. Why do we like to fracture this concept? Are we, humans, really this unintelligent? (Seriously contemplated answers only please.)
