I recently saw a show where a woman was condemning her biracial friend for 'acting white'. Why do some black people feel that just because you are biracial, being half white and half black in the case I'm talking about, that you have to claim to be black and that it is offensive for you to 'act white', when you are indeed half white. I know that in the past it was white people that lumped people that have any touch of black in them into that group, but now it seems to me that also a lot of black people can be offended when biracial people to not claim to be black. And how come when filling out forms there is only a space for black, white, and hispanic. For all the biracial people out there, how do you feel when you have to pick one or the other when filling out that type of form?
