Why do so many blacks and Latinos join the military? Blacks comprise 12 percent of the U.S. population, yet the military is over twenty percent black. Half of all female Army enlistees are Black. 13 percent of the U.S. population consists of Latinos; however, they tend to be over-represented in the Marine Corps and other branches. Please enlighten me on this issue.
