This is the most rediculous thing I have heard. As a gay man who struggled with this issue early on in life, it is not a question of whether they should be allowed to change or not, it is a question of can you change. What staight person out there would even concider this rediculous question? How many of them would want/try to become gay? Yes, there are many organizations out there that CLAIM to be able to help you change your sexual orientation, but at most, all they can do is help you to change your behavior, NOT your orientation. If you are gay, you will always be gay. If you are straight, you will always be straight. And if you are bi you will always be bi. And, any gay man (or woman) could have sex with the opposite sex and any straight man (or woman) could have sex with the same sex (yes, you cringing heterosexuals, it sounds disgusting to you to think of having sex with someone of the same sex, just as it sounds disgusting to me to think about having sex with a woman). Recently, there was an article (buried in the back of a local news paper) about the Focus on the Family poster boy for changing sexual orientation. He recently was repremended by the organization because on a recent trip to Washington D.C., he was caught in a gay bar! Go figure..... If you are troubled by your sexual orientation, the best thing to do is just realize that you are you. That is the way you were born. The only 'choice' I ever made in my sexual orientation was to choose to be OK with it. It can be tough in this world of opression and hatered against us. One way you can make a difference is to vote Democrat! But, that's a different topic.
