We are just as bewildered by this phenomenon of gold teeth in the northern states. We can always recognize people from the south by their smile (bling bling!)You just don’t see that up here amongst blacks or any other race. We think it’s a southern thing. I cannot recall any blacks I know up north going to the dentist, and scheduling an appointment to have gold teeth! I even go so far as to have white fillings put in my cavities! I don’t want silver, gold, diamonds or my initials in my teeth. I wear my jewelry on my arm and neck thank you very much.
