I loved the heart of the question. I saw a searching heart. Yes, there are churches that are open and affirming to gays. But the real quest for your search should be churches that teach biblical truth. Is homosexuality sinful? Yes, along with adultery, murder, stealing, lust, etc. Romans 3:23 says we’re all sinners. Does God love heterosexuals more than homosexuals? Certainly not. He loves each of us perfectly. He sent His Son Jesus to die for all of our sins. Joy is found in trusting the God of the Bible. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6). Read the Bible and trust Christ alone for salvation. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Don’t find a church that accepts homosexuals. Find a church that accepts the God of the Bible. He loves you and wants a relationshp with you. In His love you will grace and forgiveness and He will begin the wonderful work of sanctification.
