DavidParticipantJesus is a homophone for the Sumerian word meaning psychedelic mushroom. Jesus the man never existed. The zealots (a group of Jewish rebels in a Roman colony two millenia ago) were engaged in the roots of their own religion, paganism. They were using sexual practices, coupled with amanita muscaria (the psychedelic mushroom indigenous to Palestine) to achieve a state of God realization. They then wrote about their mushroom in the form of parabled to hide their rebellious cult from the Romans while dispensing instructions to followers everywhere. By the time the Gospels were in ready supply, no one was left alive who could have had any firsthand knowledge of a Jesus the man. The only historical reference to Jesus the man is in the writings of Josephus. No one knows who Josephus was, and many historians agree he was a combination of many historians who were unknown. Some writers point out that Jesus is a combination of Je-hovah and Zeus. Je + Zeus = Jesus. That would be a convenient combination for the Roman Catholic Church to take the great God of the Jews and the supreme god of Mount Olympus of the Romans. After all, at the time of the Zealots, they wanted a way to continue Judaism while also conquering the Romans.

DavidParticipantCertain left-leaning black groups such as the Nation of Islam are fond of labeling Jewish people as evil and perpetrators of violence on black people. As a Jew, I have heard Jewish people talk badly about black people. However, I have never heard them speak so denigratingly that I came away thinking they felt blacks were sub-human and undeserving of a fair shake. Louis Farrakhan and others make Jews sound like the lowest of the low.

DavidParticipantI feel more loyal to Israel. I would be very upset and confused if Israel made a hostile move against the United States, but I would be enraged if the reverse occurred. Would I stick my neck out to spy for Israel against the United States? Not likely. I want to live a peaceful life if at all possible. I agree with what one person said in response that it is others that make ethnicity out of Judaism. It seems like all religions like to say that they are not a religion; they are instead a way of life, which is what ethnicity is. But we have been treated as a nation for thousands of years by other nations. My extended family had their lives taken in the holocaust, and I don’t think the world has finished with us yet. Call me paranoid. But folks are calling us racist and nazis because of Israel’s national policies of giving full citizenship only to Jews. And they get away with this labeling. Would white people get away with calling ‘Gangsta Rappers’ Ku Klux Klanners? Not for a second. That allusion would be seen as inflammatory and racist against blacks and belittling toward the racism that has been perpetrated against blacks and that is still being perpetrated against blacks. Yet, no one seems to raise an eyebrow when the same is done to the Jews in the press.
