It’s because the media is dominated by baby boomers who came of age during the days of Dr. King that blacks get so much more attention than any other nonwhite struggles. As younger people take their places we will see more of the realization that interethnic relations are not and never have been solely or mainly black vs. white in this country. There are plenty of other organizations around. Just providing scholarships alone there are the American Indian College Fund, the American Indian Graduate Fund, the Latino College Fund, Soledad, HACU, literally hundred of others.
