My city is very small so there unfortunately is alot of racism. And my best friend is (to be blatant) is a rich white girl who is also 15. About a year ago she started dating this 18 year old black guy who has never hurt her in any way. However, theres about 85% of the black girls in my high school who want to jump her b/c they said that white girls ‘keep takin our guys’…and she also has to deal with the people in our community who look down upon her and her family now. Her family disapproves…but she doesnt care. What I’m getting at is, everyone is preaching to youth to get over racism and accept everyone…how can we do this when we can’t even accept each other?
