When people of other races (i.e. Americans, people from India, Indonesians, Europeans) come to the Philippines, we Filipinos observe that they have a distinct scent (some are actually malodorous) that we don't smell from others Filipinos in general. Also, when some Filipinos go to other countries, they come back saying that they noticed that odd scent, too. Do Filipinos also have a strange odor to other people in other countries? Do people from other countries notice that smell in themselves? Do all people who are 'foreign' to a place smell differently from what the locals are used to?
