oppressed peoples

    I have often wondered why African Americans as a group seemed to have survived their oppression less well than other groups in this country, ie poverty, welfare, and especially black on black crime (not that I don’t know succesful black people. It seems to me that some others, like the Jews, have survived by sticking together and that black people continue to fall apart. I live in a city with a large black population and have many black co-workers and patients.
