I was just wondering why some biracial individuals who claim to be every hue of the rainbow are so ‘whitewashed?’ I can understand wanting to be identified as both parts of your heritage or not wanting to deny either side of your family but some biracial people whose post I have read on the internet seem to have a ‘tragic mulatto’ complex going as far to denounce anyone who choses to identify with a minority group and praising others who want to be seen as white. Just a question hope to get some answers
