[Casey]

My name is Casey I’m from Phila. Pa. and I am 19. I was listening to the radio while driving to school it was a ‘Hip-Hop’ channel and an African American announcer made a statement about how if a Caucasion person were to walk into a room with an African American then the ‘white folk’ would be afraid of the ‘Black folk.’ I dont understand why she would make fun of a white person on a radio station intended for all races? I also dont understand why there is such a cry for acceptance and equality when there are Channels like ‘BET’ (Black Entertainment Televison) or the ‘Greek Feast’ where whites are not welcomed. Why is this being done because if the shoe where on the other foot then different standards would be set it would be whites being racist against blacks but it doesnt apply in these situations? Casey
