OK This is probably unique to the tristate area. But why are the affordable homes (and nice looking ones and even nice looking new homes to boot) in areas that are 90% or more black or hispanic? This is not my only question. These same areas are also ‘tough’ and the schools are substandard and even classified as dangerous. I do not accept that ‘minorities are bad/garbage people’, but why are the predominantly white areas with great schools and low crime(which make sky-high property prices) and those non white areas with horrible schools and scary crime? It cannot be because they are immigrant either because the predominantly white Russian immigrant areas are safe with excellent schools. So what gives? IS it that minorities are bad? What?
