I am Black, so I am an authority on why most black people can dance. It’s not because our parents encourage us to dance at an early age, or because we don’t mind making a fool of ourselves. Its definitely not because we spend an enormous amount of time watching dance videos because BET was not in existence when I was a kid, and I can still dance. You see I’m 52. It’s genetic–We feel it. It’s who we are. We don’t have to practice it or use a formula. Slavery brought us from Africa, and the rhythmn/beat of the drums came with us.
