I live in East Texas. As a respectful African American feamle, it is frusterating to go to department stores. I feel that many white Americans automatically assume that I will steal or something because I am an African American. (For example, I have been followed and have seen many other African Amerians followed.)Why do some white American employees follow us when in reality, the average shoplifter is a middle aged white male?
