More and more nowadays alot of blacks are talking about slavery reparations, whether this notion will be a good idea for Black America. Now don’t get me wrong, slavery was horrible and detestable but, I dont think a lump slum will solve all the problems faced by Black Americans. And also let’s not forget that it was the African Kings who started the slave trade contrary to what Jesse Jackass is spewing. Condi Rice said it best when she pointed out that there are various people black, white, and arab that are guilty of the crimes against humanity that is slavery. I think that demanding White America to pay up in a sense is not only ridiculous but outrageous. I think the best solution is for we as Black Americans to stop becoming so dependent on the government. And that economic self-empowerment is what we should be focusing on instead of constantly dwelling on this senseless ‘battle’. So before I start getting the Uncle Tom and Anti-black hate mail I would like to hear those who read this post opinion of the above subject. P.S. Bush 2004
