Why is it that all cultures(particularly those of color where complexions range from dark to light) are dark skinned women looked down upon as inferior. What I’m talking about is the media and how most men of color think. I’ve noticed in Black media(from african american to whereever else blacks are) to Latino culture and South Asian culture, dark skinned women are hardly ever portrayed in a positive light in the media. For men on the other hand, dark skin is considered sexy. Why is this?
